FFX Save Game Basically, I'm looking for anyone with a spare memory card with sufficient FFX data on it. I haven't played the game for a few months but I thought that I would today.
Editing your game save for Final Fantasy X on PC is really easy. I will show you how to do it in a few easy steps. For those who prefer a video tutorial, I have created one which can be found at the bottom of the article. Sphere Grid complete plus all spheres replaced with +4, Best Weapons and Armors, All Marks Caught.

Instructions
First things first, remember to make a backup of your save files just in case something goes wrong! Saves are located in C:Users*****DocumentsSquare EnixFINAL FANTASY X&X-2 HD RemasterFINAL FANTASY X
EDIT: Easier method found by rodrigo_Vgao on the steam forams
1.- Open your save with HxD
2.- Delete everything from the adress 0x64F8 to the end (64F8 means the 000064F0 row, the 8th column, with that value included). Dont worry, this is junk code, it serves no purpose and the FFXHD game can open games without this code
3.- Open the file with FFXED, edit whatever you want and save (The previous step was to make sure FFXED could open the file, because it doesn't recognise the PC save files directly)
4.- Use the memorysumchecker on the edited file:
4a: Open MemorySumChecker
4b: Press ctrl+O and select your edited file
4c: Make sure in the left area of the program is selected the one where 'X HD' is written
4d: Press the play button
5.- Your save file is succesfully edited and ready to play!

Original Method
- Open HxD
- Go to File > Open. Select your desired FFX-HD save that you wish to edit. (ffx_000 is the in-game Autosave file) Right-click the giant field of numbers, and choose Select Block
Input the following values Start offset: 0 End offset: 638A
- Next, right-click this selected part and choose Copy
- Now go to File>Open again, and choose the provided template file of FFX-International.
- Making sure you're at offset 0 for this file, right-click here, and choose Paste Write
- Now save these changes to the template file.
- [You can now open up the template file in FFXED and make your desired changes.]
- Run FFXED.Jar (requires a java install and associating .jar with java)
- Load the template file
- Once you are done with that, we're going to work in reverse. Basically repeat the previous steps. But do it on the template file instead.
- So, right-click again, and choose Select Block. Enter starting offset 0, and 638A for ending - same as before.
- Once you have selected the block, right-click that section and copy it. This time go back to the original FFX-HD save. Press CTRL+G here (Shortcut for going to the Search>Goto option).
- Enter 0, and make sure hex is selected. This will take you back to the start of the offsets. Now right-click here, and choose Paste Write.
- Save the file and close HxD.
- Now unfortunately we are not done here yet. There is a checksum in the game, and because we have edited all these things in FFXED, it will no longer match up. This will cause the game to think the data has been corrupted.
- For that we will use the tool MemorySumChecker, which will fix the file for us.
- Open the tool and press CTRL+O which will give you the 'Open' prompt. Select your FFX-HD save.
- In that little dropdown box you see, make sure it says something with X-HD in there. Once that is set, press the blue play button.
- On the bottom right section it will say something like SHOW XX XX, etc. http://i.imgur.com/NCPEmjY.png
That's all there is to it. The checksum is now fixed, and you are able to safely load the game.
